The Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chikkamagaluru has released Notification No. ADMN-03/2026 dated 27 June 2026 to fill 1 Typist-Copyist post in the courts functioning under the Chikkamagaluru district and sessions judgeship. This vacancy is filled as per the Karnataka High Court Rules for Recruitment of Class III and IV posts in Subordinate Courts, 2021, along with its subsequent amendments.

Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: You must have passed SSLC (10th standard) or an equivalent examination.
  • Typing Skill: You must hold a Junior Grade typewriting certificate in both Kannada and English (or an equivalent exam) conducted by the Department of Public Instruction or a recognised authority.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these stages:

  1. Typing Skill Test: A qualifying typewriting test in Kannada and English on a computer.

  3. Interview: Candidates are called for interview in a 1:5 ratio to the number of vacancies, based on merit.
