Who Can Apply?

Court Officer (Level 16 - Rs. 49,000/month):

• You need a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

Junior Administrative Assistant - JAA (Level 10 - Rs. 35,100/month):

• You need a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with computer knowledge.
• This post is reserved for candidates of the Garo category.

Computer Operator (Level 7 - Rs. 28,400/month):

• You need a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with a Diploma/Certificate in Computers.
• This post is reserved for candidates of the Khasi/Jaintia category.

Age Limit

• If you are not already in permanent Government service, you should not be more than 32 years old (General category) or 37 years old (SC/ST and Other SC/ST) as on 14 August 2026, the last date for receiving applications.
• You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary between Rs. 28,400 and Rs. 49,000 per month, depending on the post, under Levels 7 to 16 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per High Court of Meghalaya rules.

Application Fee

• General category: Rs. 400
• SC/ST: Rs. 200
• Payment mode: ATM/Debit Card or Net Banking of State Bank of India, or cash at any SBI branch using an eChallan.
• Fee payment must be completed within 3 days of the last date for submitting applications. The fee once deposited is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other purpose.

Selection Process

The High Court of Meghalaya will select candidates through the following stages:

1. Written Examination
2. Personal Interview

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination or interview. The Hon'ble Chief Justice reserves the right to relax any condition mentioned in the advertisement, and the recruitment process may be cancelled at any time without assigning a reason.
