CFEES DRDO JRF Recruitment 2026

The Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety (CFEES), a DRDO laboratory in Delhi, is hiring 9 Junior Research Fellows (JRF) across five engineering disciplines. If you have a First Division B.E./B.Tech with a valid NET or GATE score, you can attend the walk-in interview. The stipend is Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA. CFEES (DRDO) Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 - 9 Posts

The Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety (CFEES), under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has invited engineering graduates for 9 Junior Research Fellow positions. These are purely temporary research posts and give a strong start for fresh engineers who want research experience in a top defence laboratory. Selection is through a walk-in interview only — there is no written exam. All five disciplines carry the same stipend and are based at CFEES, Timarpur, Delhi.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A First Division B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering branch (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics or Computer) with a valid NET or GATE score.
• For Mechanical and Electronics Engineering, an M.Tech is also accepted along with NET/GATE.
• You must produce your NET/GATE qualification and all original certificates at the interview.

Age Limit

• Your age should be maximum 28 years.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per government rules.

Salary

• Selected fellows get a stipend of Rs. 37,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
• The positions are purely temporary and do not give any right to a regular DRDO job.

Selection Process

1. Walk-in Interview: Selection is done through a face-to-face interview on the notified date. There is no written test.
2. Document Verification: Bring all original mark sheets, certificates and your NET/GATE score card for checking.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, and no accommodation is provided by the organisation.

How to Apply

1. Fill the application form (Appendix 'A') given in the notification and affix a recent passport-size photo.
2. Attach attested copies of your mark sheets, certificates, caste certificate and experience certificates.
3. If you work in a Government/PSU/Autonomous body, bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
4. Report at DROMI, Brig. S. K. Mazumdar Marg, Timarpur, Delhi-110054 at 0900 hours on your interview date.
5. Carry all original certificates for verification at the interview.
