Who Can Apply?

For Junior Commercial Executive (50 posts):

  • You need a B.Sc Agriculture degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

For Junior Assistant - Accounts and General (80 posts):

  • You need a graduate degree in any discipline (Commerce is preferred for Accounts posts). Basic computer knowledge is required for both posts.

For Management Trainee - Marketing (8 posts):

  • You need an MBA in Agribusiness Management or an agriculture-related management degree.

For Management Trainee - Accounts (8 posts):

  • You need to be a qualified CA or CMA.

For Assistant Manager - Official Language (1 post):

  • You need a Post-Graduate degree relevant to Rajbhasha/Hindi work, as specified in the official notification.

For Assistant Manager - Information Technology (1 post):

  • You need a B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/IT or MCA.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age for all posts is 18 years.
  • Maximum age is 30 years for Junior Assistant, Junior Commercial Executive and Management Trainee posts, and 32 years for Assistant Manager posts, as on the date of advertisement (8 July 2026).
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (non-creamy layer) get 3 years, PwBD candidates get 10 years, Ex-Servicemen get relaxation equal to their military service plus 3 years, and J&K domicile candidates (born between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989) get 5 years.

Salary

  • Junior Commercial Executive and Junior Assistant posts carry a pay scale of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month (7th CPC Level 3, Grade Pay 2000).
  • Management Trainee (Marketing and Accounts) posts carry a pay scale of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month.
  • You will also get DA, HRA and Transport Allowance as per CCI/Government of India rules, along with other PSU employee benefits.
  • All posts carry a 12-month probation period before your appointment is confirmed.
  • Selected candidates must serve a mandatory 3-year service bond. Leaving CCI before completing 3 years means paying up to 3 months' basic pay as compensation.

  • General / EWS / OBC: Rs. 1,770 (including GST)
  • SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD: Rs. 590 (including GST)
  • Payment mode: Online only. The fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstances.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 3 stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): 120 objective MCQs for 120 marks in 120 minutes, covering General English, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge (15 questions each) plus Subject/Professional Knowledge for your post (60 questions). 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day office administration, correspondence and record-keeping tasks
  • Assist in cotton procurement, sales and commercial operations at the assigned branch or centre
  • Maintain accounts, ledgers and financial records as per CCI norms
  • Prepare reports on procurement, sales and stock position for management review
  • Coordinate with farmers, ginners and traders during cotton buying operations
  • Monitor quality parameters and testing of cotton samples where assigned
  • Support budgeting, auditing and compliance activities under the Accounts or Marketing wing
  • Follow CCI policies, government guidelines and safety protocols in daily work
