High Court of Bombay Original Side has released a notification to prepare a selection list for the Cook-Cum-Peon post. Who Can Apply?

• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.

• Government employees: If you work in a court or government office, you must attach a No Objection Certificate and should not have a pending departmental enquiry.

Age Limit

• Open category: 18 to 38 years.
• Backward category: 18 to 43 years.
• Court or government employees: Minimum age is 18 years; upper age limit is not applicable as per the notice.
• Reference date: Age is counted as on the notification date, 17 June 2026.

Salary

• The pay scale is S-3: Rs. 16,600 to Rs. 52,400.
• You will also get dearness allowance and other admissible allowances as per rules.
• The post is an isolated post, and the notification says future promotion opportunities are not available for this post.

• Payment mode: Demand Draft only.
• The demand draft should be drawn in favour of BOMBAY HIGH COURT ORIGINAL SIDE.

Selection Process

The selection will be done for 80 marks. You must qualify in earlier stages to be considered for the later stages.

1. Written Exam: Objective multiple-choice questions for 30 marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 15.
2. Cooking Practical Test: Practical cooking test for 30 marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 15.
3. Physical Capacity Test: This stage carries 10 marks.
4. Interview: Personal interview carries 10 marks.
5. Document Verification: Original documents will be checked before final appointment.
