Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), through its Public Health Department, is hiring a Contract Medical Officer (MBBS) to serve at HinduHrudaySamrat Balasaheb Thackeray (HBT) Aapla Davakhana clinics across Mumbai. This appointment was approved under the Municipal Commissioner's order No. MGC/F/5910 dated 25.03.2025. This is a purely contractual position for an initial period of 179 days (6 months), with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a recognized MBBS degree from a university approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Registration: You must be registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council, and your registration must be up to date (renewed).
• Computer Knowledge: Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Experience: Freshers can apply. However, if you have 6 months or more of clinical experience, you will be given additional merit during the selection process.

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive a consolidated (lump sum) honorarium of Rs. 90,000 per month.

Selection Process
