Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Field Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (RGSC), Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Mirzapur, has opened 1 Field Assistant post for the project "Interventions of Improved Agricultural Technologies for Transforming Agriculture for Enhancing Farmer's Income in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh". The project is funded by the U.P. Council of Agricultural Research, Lucknow, for a period of three years, and this post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. If you enjoy fieldwork, know how to drive, and have basic computer and statistical skills, this role could suit you well.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need to have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board.
• Desirable: A valid driving license, willingness to work in farmers' fields, and proven computer and statistical knowledge will strengthen your application.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 28 years old.
• Age Relaxation: Female, SC, ST and Physically Handicapped candidates get 5 years relaxation. OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed salary of Rs. 15,000 per month.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection is done through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held at Committee Room No. 1, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, at 11:00 AM on 11 August 2026.
