Who Can Apply?

FTEC-01: Deputy Engineer (Civil) — 28 Posts

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Civil discipline from an AICTE-approved college or recognized university.
• Class Requirement: First Class for General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates. Pass Class for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

FTEA-02: Deputy Engineer (Architecture) — 4 Posts

• Qualification: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
• Class Requirement: First Class for General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates. Pass Class for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

FTEH-03: Deputy Engineer (Horticulture) — 3 Posts

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture from a recognized university.
• Class Requirement: First Class for General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates. Pass Class for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

If your college uses CGPA or credit-based grading, you will need to convert it to percentage using your university's official formula and attach supporting proof.

Age Limit

• You should be 28 years old or below as on 01 March 2026.
• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation (upper age limit becomes 31 years).
• SC / ST: 5 years relaxation (upper age limit becomes 33 years).
• PwBD (40% or more disability): 10 years relaxation over and above the category relaxation.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines.

Salary

• You will be placed in the E-II grade with a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month with an annual increment of 3%.
• In addition to basic pay, you will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and 35% of annual basic pay as perquisites.
• Other benefits include Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical Reimbursement, Provident Fund, Pension, and Gratuity as per company rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 400/- plus 18% GST (total Rs. 472/-).
• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted (no fee required).
• Fee must be paid through SBI Collect (online only). No cheque, DD, or cash payment accepted.
• The fee is non-refundable once paid.

Selection Process

1. Written Test (85 marks): An objective-type exam of 85 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. Each correct answer gets you 1 mark. Questions will cover technical subjects from your engineering or degree syllabus, along with a General Aptitude and Reasoning section. The exam will be held at Bengaluru. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
2. Interview (15 marks): Based on written test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio (5 candidates for every 1 vacancy). The same minimum qualifying marks apply for the interview as well.
3. Final Selection: Your final selection will depend on combined performance in both the written test and interview, for a total of 100 marks.

4. Pay the application fee of Rs. 400/- plus GST (if applicable) through SBI Collect. After payment, note the SBI Collect Reference Number and enter it in the application form.
5. Submit the application and take a printout for your records.
6. Do not send any hard copy of the application to BEL office. Only online applications are accepted.

• Prepare technical drawings, estimates, and project reports for ongoing and upcoming civil works.

• Assist senior engineers in planning and executing renovation, repair, and landscaping projects across the complex.
• Manage documentation related to civil and architectural projects including work orders, bills, and progress reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams across departments to coordinate facility requirements and infrastructure upgrades.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines while executing all civil and horticulture-related activities.
