MRPL Graduate and Diploma Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, is taking part in a walk-in apprenticeship fair organised by the Board of Apprenticeship Training, Southern Region (BOAT-SR). The fair at Mandya brings together the graduate and diploma apprentice routes under the same MRPL notice. You will be considered for apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Posts and Disciplines
- Graduate Apprentice Trainee: the engineering graduate stream covers Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice Trainee: the diploma stream covers Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, and Instrumentation.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Training period: the apprenticeship lasts one year. You should consider the full training period when making your plans.
- Employment after training: completing the apprenticeship does not give you a right to a job at MRPL. The company has no obligation to offer employment after your training ends.
- Personal arrangements: you must arrange your own accommodation, transport and other needs. MRPL will not reimburse boarding or lodging during verification, joining or the engagement.
- Travel expenses: no travel or daily allowance is payable for document verification and joining.
- Reservation: the company follows the Apprentices Act guidelines for OBC (NCL), EWS, SC, ST and PwBD reservation.
- Merit-list decisions: MRPL retains the final decision on matters relating to preparation of the merit list.

The walk-in venue is Cauvery Institute of Technology, Sundahalli, Siddaiahnakoppalu Gate, Mandya 571402, Karnataka. You must attend in person, and the prescribed application form will be available at the fair.
Student registration on NATS 2.0 is a prerequisite: https://nats.education.gov.in/. Enter the unique registration number from that portal in your application form.

Minimum Qualification
Graduate Apprentice Trainee: Engineering degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology. Technician (Diploma) Apprentice Trainee: Diploma in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation. Must have passed between 2022 and 2026. - Date-of-birth proof: SSLC marks card, matriculation certificate, school-leaving certificate or municipal birth certificate.
- Class X, XII, diploma and degree mark sheets and certificates as applicable, including semester-wise/year-wise mark sheets and provisional/final diploma or degree certificate.
- Documentary proof of CGPA-to-percentage conversion, if applicable.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL) caste certificate or EWS income and asset certificate in the prescribed government format, if claiming reservation.
- PwBD certificate from the competent authority, if applicable.
- Copy of Aadhaar card or e-Aadhaar.
- Two recent colour passport-size photographs.
