  • Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL) candidates get 3 years relaxation, SC candidates get 5 years, PwBD candidates (40%+ disability) get 10 years over and above the category relaxation. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per government guidelines.

Salary

  • Deputy Manager (E-IV): Pay scale of Rs. 60,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,80,000 per month. Approximate CTC is Rs. 19 lakhs per year.
  • Senior Engineer (E-III): Pay scale of Rs. 50,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,60,000 per month. Approximate CTC is Rs. 15 lakhs per year.
  • You will also get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of Basic Pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical Reimbursement, Provident Fund, Pension, and Gratuity as per BEL rules.

Selection Process

Selection will happen in 2 stages:

  1. Written Test (85 marks): Held at Bengaluru only. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for UR/OBC and 30% for SC/PwBD candidates. Based on performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interview at a 1:7 ratio.
  2. Interview (15 marks): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Outstation candidates will be reimbursed travel expenses (AC Chair Car / III Tier AC fare).

Final selection is based on the combined performance in both the Written Test and Interview (total 100 marks). Medical fitness is required before appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle design and planning of industrial buildings, infrastructure facilities, and engineering services projects
  • Prepare architectural or engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and rate analysis for tenders
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines including structural, civil, electrical, HVAC, and fire-fighting teams
  • Monitor compliance with relevant codes, standards (NBC, GRIHA, CPWD), and statutory requirements
  • Manage site visits, surveys, and customer interactions across the country as required
  • Work on environmental risk management, pollution control, and regulatory compliance where applicable
  • Assist in modernization and modification projects for existing buildings and facilities
