Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence and India's premier professional electronics company, needs engineers and architects for its Engineering Services Division at the Bengaluru Complex. This recruitment covers 3 permanent posts (Deputy Manager Architecture, Senior Engineer Electrical, Senior Engineer Mechanical) and 1 fixed-tenure post for 5 years (Senior Engineer Environmental Engineering). Deputy Manager (Architecture) - E-IV (Job Code: PDM01)

• Qualification: B. Arch from a reputed AICTE-approved college or recognized university
• Experience: 8-9 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT; exposure to GRIHA, NBC standards; green building concepts

Senior Engineer (Electrical) - E-III (Job Code: PSE01)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical
• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Skills: Knowledge of AUTOCAD, DIALUX; experience in electrical infrastructure design up to 33 kV level

Senior Engineer (Mechanical) - E-III (Job Code: PSE02)

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical
• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Skills: Knowledge of HVAC systems, fire-fighting systems, AutoCAD; rate analysis and tendering experience

Senior Engineer (Environmental Engineering) - E-III (Job Code: FTEN01, Fixed Tenure 5 Years)

• Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech in Environmental Engineering with prior qualification of B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Civil
• Experience: 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Skills: Knowledge of environmental risk management, ESG practices, waste management, EIA, pollution control compliance

General and OBC (NCL) candidates need First Class in their degree. SC and PwBD candidates need a pass class. Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Age Limit

• Deputy Manager (Architecture) E-IV: Maximum 36 years as on 01.04.2026
• Senior Engineer (Electrical) E-III: Maximum 32 years as on 01.04.2026
• Senior Engineer (Mechanical) E-III: Maximum 32 years as on 01.04.2026
• Senior Engineer (Environmental) E-III: Maximum 35 years as on 01.04.2026
• Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL) candidates get 3 years relaxation, SC candidates get 5 years, PwBD candidates (40%+ disability) get 10 years over and above the category relaxation. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per government guidelines.

Salary

• Deputy Manager (E-IV): Pay scale of Rs. 60,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,80,000 per month. Approximate CTC is Rs. 19 lakhs per year.
• Senior Engineer (E-III): Pay scale of Rs. 50,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,60,000 per month. Approximate CTC is Rs. 15 lakhs per year.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of Basic Pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical Reimbursement, Provident Fund, Pension, and Gratuity as per BEL rules.

• Permanent Posts (E-III & E-IV): Rs. 600 + 18% GST (total Rs. 708)
• Fixed Tenure Post (E-III): Rs. 400 + 18% GST (total Rs. 472)
• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted (No fee)
• Payment Mode: Online through SBI Collect only. Separate payment for each job code. Fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Selection will happen in 2 stages:

1. Written Test (85 marks): Held at Bengaluru only. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for UR/OBC and 30% for SC/PwBD candidates. Based on performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interview at a 1:7 ratio.
2. Interview (15 marks): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Outstation candidates will be reimbursed travel expenses (AC Chair Car / III Tier AC fare).

Final selection is based on the combined performance in both the Written Test and Interview (total 100 marks). Medical fitness is required before appointment.
