The District AYUSH Medical Office, West Singhbhum (Chaibasa) is hiring 25 Yoga Instructors (17 Male + 8 Female) for Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AYUSH wellness centres) across the district. If you have a Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Yoga from a recognised university or institution, you can attend the walk-in interview. The pay is Rs. 250 per yoga session. The walk-in interview will be held on 22 and 23 May 2026.

The District AYUSH Society, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa (Jharkhand) — functioning under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India — has issued a revised advertisement (Notification No. 02/2026 AYUSH) for the selection of 25 Yoga Instructors (Male and Female) to conduct yoga and wellness activities at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AYUSH) located in different blocks of the district. Selection is purely through walk-in interview — no written exam. Candidates with residential certificate of Chaibasa district and experience certificates will get top priority.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Yoga from a recognised University or Institution.
• Alternative qualification: A Certified Yoga Instructor certificate issued under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is also accepted.
• Priority 1: Candidates holding a Residential certificate of Chaibasa district will get the highest preference.
• Priority 2: Candidates with prior experience as a Yoga Instructor (with experience certificate) will get next preference.
• Tie-breaker: If one or more candidates are selected with the same yoga qualification, the second-highest qualification marks will be the deciding factor.
• Locality: Yoga Instructors residing within 5 km radius of the Ayushman Arogya Mandir will get priority for that centre.

Salary

• Honorarium: Rs. 250 per yoga session
• Each yoga session will be of 2 hours duration
• At least 10 sessions per month are guaranteed at each Ayushman Arogya Mandir on fixed days and time.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in the following stages:

1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates must appear at the Civil Surgeon Office, Chaibasa with all original documents and photocopies (02 copies).
2. Document Verification: All original certificates will be verified at the time of interview.
3. Final Selection: Based on yoga qualification, residential certificate, experience, and proximity to the AYUSH centre.

Note: Work days and yoga sessions will follow the guidelines issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Future regularisation claims will not be entertained.

How to Apply

1. Download the application form (विहित प्रपत्र) from the official Chaibasa NIC portal at chaibasa.nic.in.
2. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications (Class 10 onwards), and yoga experience (if any).
3. Self-attest copies of all qualification certificates and mark sheets.
4. Carry the filled-in application, original documents, 02 sets of self-attested photocopies, and 02 passport-size photos to the walk-in venue.
5. Report at the Auditorium, Office of the Civil Surgeon, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa by 11:00 AM on your block's assigned date.

• Conduct daily yoga sessions of 2-hour duration at the assigned Ayushman Arogya Mandir
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate yoga and wellness programmes for community members
• Maintain attendance and progress records of yoga session participants
• Coordinate with the AYUSH Medical Officer and Block Health Authority on schedules
• Promote awareness of yoga benefits and AYUSH wellness activities in the community
• Conduct at least 10 sessions per month at the assigned wellness centre
• Follow yoga guidelines and curriculum issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India
