Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Sri Vijaya Puram has released a recruitment notice for the post of Lady Medical Officer on a contract basis for one year. ANIIMS is a government medical institute run under the Andaman & Nicobar Administration and academically affiliated to Pondicherry University. This is a women-only post filled through an interview. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must hold an MBBS degree as per National Medical Commission (NMC) norms.
• Registration: You need a valid MBBS State Medical Council / NMC registration certificate.
• Gender: This post is open only to women candidates (Lady Medical Officer).
• Internship: You must have completed your internship, with a valid completion certificate.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 86,000 per month.
• The appointment is on a contract basis for one year.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection is done through a single stage:

1. Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview. The date of the interview will be intimated later through the ANIIMS website.

You must carry all original documents at the time of the interview.

2. Keep soft copies of all required documents ready: 10th pass certificate, attempt and character certificate, internship completion certificate, MBBS mark sheets, MBBS degree certificate, MBBS registration certificate, Aadhaar card and PAN card. Add any research work or experience certificates if you have them.

• Work in shifts, including night duty, as per the roster.
• Follow hospital protocols and infection control guidelines.
