Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is engaging a Teaching Associate in Genetics and Plant Breeding at Sri Mekapati Goutham Reddy Agricultural College, Udayagiri, in SPSR Nellore district. This is a temporary contractual appointment at the college. The key condition is that your engagement can end when the university fills the regular post, even if the stated contract period is not over.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The contract runs for no more than 11 months from joining, or until the regular post is filled, whichever happens first. It ends automatically at that point.
• No regular appointment claim: Working under this contract does not give you a right to regular appointment in the university or another government organisation.
• No continuation right: You cannot claim an extension simply because you have completed the contractual engagement. The notice separately rules out a right to continued contractual service.
• Early termination: The college can end the engagement at any time without advance notice or a stated reason.
• Leaving the post: If you choose to leave, you must give one month's notice. Otherwise, the notice requires payment of one month's salary before leaving.
• Accuracy and conduct: Concealing facts or trying to influence the process can lead to disqualification. If discovered during the engagement, it can lead to termination.
• Travel expenses: You must meet your own travel and daily expenses for attending the interview; the college does not reimburse these costs.
• Administrative decision: The committee's decision is final. The Associate Dean can cancel or postpone the interview if unavoidable circumstances arise.
