If a suitable Teaching Associate candidate is not available, a Teaching Assistant will be selected instead from candidates meeting relaxed criteria. Who Can Apply?

For Teaching Associate:

• Qualification (Option 1): Ph.D. in the relevant subject
• Qualification (Option 2): Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in any one of these fields — Food Process Engineering, Food Engineering, Dairy and Food Engineering, Dairy Engineering, Agricultural Process and Food Engineering, Process and Food Engineering, Post Harvest Engineering, or Food Engineering and Management
• Qualification (Option 3): B.Tech (Food Technology) or B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) of 4/5 years duration with first division or equivalent overall grade point average

For Teaching Assistant (only if no suitable Teaching Associate candidate is found):

• Qualification: Master's degree in the same subject areas listed above with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, OR B.Tech (Food Technology)/B.Tech (Ag. Engg.) of 4/5 years with first division
• Experience: Candidates with prior teaching or research experience will be preferred

As part of the interview, you will need to present a topic of your choice on the blackboard for 2-3 minutes, so prepare a short teaching demonstration in your subject area.

Selection Process

Selection is done through a walk-in interview in 4 stages:

1. Certificate Verification: Your original certificates will be checked at 9:00 AM on the interview day.
2. Walk-in Interview: Starts at 9:30 AM on 10 August 2026.
3. Teaching Demonstration: You will present a topic of your choice on the blackboard for 2-3 minutes.
4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness check at their own expense before joining.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The Associate Dean can cancel or postpone the interview at any time due to unavoidable circumstances.

Contract Terms

• Concealing facts or canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification at the time of selection, or termination even during the contract period.
• The contract can be terminated at any time without prior notice if your service is found unsatisfactory.
• If you wish to leave the job on your own, you must give one month's notice, or pay one month's salary in lieu of notice.
• You must undergo a medical examination at your own expense to confirm physical fitness before joining.
