Who Can Apply?

For Medical Candidates:

• Qualification: A postgraduate medical degree - MD / MS / DNB / DM / MCh - in the relevant discipline from a recognised university or institute.

For Non-Medical Candidates (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Physiology only):

• Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Biotech degree in the subject concerned AND a Ph.D. in the same or an allied subject from a recognised university or institute.

You must have passed the qualifying exam and have the result declared on or before the last date of application.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 45 years as on 4 August 2026 (till completion of Senior Residency).
• Age relaxation applies as per Government of India rules.
• Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency are not eligible.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary under Pay Level 11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month) plus Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) as applicable.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee

• General / EWS / OBC (NCL): Rs. 1,200 plus transaction charges
• SC / ST: Rs. 500 plus transaction charges

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following:

1. Written Test and/or Interview: The mode of selection may be a written test, an interview, or both, as decided by the competent authority. It will be held at AIIMS Rishikesh.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must bring the printout of the online application form along with all original documents on the interview date.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written test or interview.
