AIIMS Nagpur's Department of Nephrology has released a vacancy notice (No. AIIMS/NAG/NEPHRO/Rec/2026/03) for 1 Project Technical Support-III post under the ICMR-funded project "Biomarkers for prediction and early diagnosis of Heart Failure in Chronic Kidney Disease." This is a temporary, contractual post for one year, likely to be extended till the project completes, and it does not create any claim to a regular appointment at AIIMS Nagpur, ICMR, or any other Government of India organization. Life Sciences graduates with research experience are encouraged to apply — shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview by email, usually within a week.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A three-year graduate degree in a relevant Life Sciences subject with 3 years of post-qualification experience, OR a postgraduate degree in a relevant Life Sciences subject.
• Desirable: Experience in research projects and research laboratory work, plus knowledge of computer applications.
• Your qualification and experience should be from an institution of repute, and experience will only be counted if it was gained after your minimum qualifying degree.
• Meeting the minimum qualification alone does not guarantee selection — candidates with higher qualifications may also apply.
• Persons already working in regular government service, or on another ICMR/funded project or clinical trial, are not eligible.

Age Limit

• You should not be above 35 years old, calculated from the last date of this notification.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get up to 5 years, OBC candidates get up to 3 years. Candidates with experience in a Government Research Organization may get up to 5 more years, at the discretion of DG, ICMR.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 28,000 basic pay plus 20% HRA per month (around Rs. 33,600 total).
• Your stipend may be revised from time to time as per the project's requirements.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the interview or joining — you'll need to arrange your own travel and accommodation.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Your application and documents uploaded to the Google Form will be checked against the eligibility criteria.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email and interviewed, typically within a week of the last date.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original certificates for qualification, age, and experience before joining — if you're not found eligible at this stage, your selection will be cancelled.

The Selection Committee's decision is final and binding, and canvassing in any form will disqualify your candidature at any stage of the process.
