All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur, established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has released a notification for 2 Patient Care Coordinator posts on a purely contractual basis for a period of 11 months. This is an IT/Computer Science role in the hospital administration, not a clinical nursing or patient-facing care role. The position is open under UR category.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Educational Qualification

• BSc in Computer Science OR
• BCom in Computer Science OR
• BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) OR
• BE in Information Technology OR
• BTech in Information Technology from a recognised university or institution

Experience

• 2 years of experience in the concerned field is required
• All qualifications and experience will be counted as on the last date of submission (27 May 2026)

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on the last date of submission of application (27 May 2026)
• Age refers to completed age in years as on the last date
• Reservation and age relaxation will be as per Government of India rules

Salary

• Fixed monthly remuneration: Rs. 26,910 per month
• No enhancement during the contract period
• Emoluments are consolidated in nature - no additional allowances like DA, HRA, TA
• No PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance or other benefits available to regular employees
• Paid leave at the rate of 1 day per completed month of service

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Screening of Applications: Based on educational qualification, relevant experience and shortlisting criteria fixed by the Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur.
2. Screening Test (if needed): May be conducted if a large number of applications are received.
3. Document Verification: Before the interview, a duly constituted committee will scrutinise applications and verify documents to determine eligibility.
4. Interview: Held at AIIMS Nagpur (or any other place decided by the Executive Director). You must produce all original documents for verification before the interview.
5. Minimum Qualifying Marks: You must score the minimum suitability standard in the interview fixed by the Selection Committee for empanelment.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Final appointment is subject to medical fitness verification.

• Maintain databases of patient appointments, OPD scheduling and reports
• Generate operational reports and dashboards for hospital administration
• Coordinate with clinical departments, IT cell and administration for smooth patient flow
• Troubleshoot software issues, train staff on hospital IT applications when needed
