All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Madurai has released an advertisement to fill 1 Assistant Accounts Officer post on deputation. AIIMS Madurai is an apex healthcare institute set up by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). This is a deputation post — it is open only to officers already working in Central, State, UT Governments, Universities, Statutory or Autonomous Bodies. Who Can Apply?

This post is on deputation, so only serving Government employees can apply. Applications from non-government employees will not be accepted.

• Analogous post route: You should be an officer in the Central / State / UT Government, a University, a Statutory or Autonomous Body, or a Research and Development Organisation, holding an analogous post on a regular basis.
• Feeder post route: Or you should be a Junior Accounts Officer with 5 years of regular service in the grade pay of Rs. 4,200.
• You must have completed 9 years of service and be clear from the vigilance angle to be eligible for deputation.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years as on the closing date.
• The age limit is regulated as per DoPT OM No. AB-14017/11/2017-Estt(RR) dated 5 February 2018.

Salary

• This is a Group B post in Pay Level 7 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (entry pay Rs. 44,900 per month).
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances admissible to Central Government employees of similar status, plus allowances sanctioned at AIIMS Madurai.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this deputation post.

1. Application Scrutiny: The institute checks eligibility and shortlists candidates. Mere eligibility does not guarantee an interview call.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates appear before the selection committee at AIIMS Madurai. No TA/DA is paid.
3. Document Verification: You must produce originals along with self-attested copies, including ID proof, vigilance clearance, APAR/CR dossiers (last 5 years), and a No Objection Certificate.
