AIIMS Deoghar is hiring 1 Nurse for its Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) in the Department of Psychiatry. AIIMS Deoghar has released a notification for 1 Nurse post under its Addiction Treatment Facility, a scheme run in coordination with the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS New Delhi, and supported by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. No written exam is required — selection is purely through a walk-in interview. As a Nurse in this role, you will dispense medicines as prescribed by the doctor, maintain dispensing and stock records, provide first-aid support when the doctor is unavailable, and support field visits under the ATF programme. This role suits nursing graduates who want hands-on experience in addiction treatment and psychiatric care.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) is the minimum requirement.
- Preferred: GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc Nursing.
- Language: You should be proficient in both Hindi and English.
- All your educational and professional qualifications must be from a recognized Board or University, obtained through full-time study.
Selection Process
The selection is a simple two-step process:
- Walk-in Interview: Bring your original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies covering age, qualification, and experience proof.
- Document Verification: Your documents will be checked at the venue before final selection.
If you are already working in a government department or PSU, carry a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer. Note that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients as prescribed by the doctor

- Follow AIIMS Deoghar protocols for patient care and safety
