Educational Qualification and Experience

• Qualification: You must meet the essential qualification and experience given in Annexure-A of the AIIMS Bilaspur advertisement for your post and specialty.
• Medical registration: You must be registered with the State Medical Council, MCI or NMC, wherever applicable.
• DNB candidates: DNB holders must produce valid equivalence proof for MD, MS, DM or M.Ch as per the MCI notification mentioned in the advertisement.
• Cut-off date: You must satisfy eligibility, age and experience conditions on or before 25 June 2026.

Post Types Covered

• Professor: Regular direct recruitment and deputation are open.
• Associate Professor: Regular direct recruitment and deputation are open.

Salary

• Associate Professor: Entry Pay Matrix Level 13A1, Rs. 1,38,300 to Rs. 2,09,200 plus usual allowances and NPA where applicable.
• Assistant Professor Regular: Entry Pay Matrix Level 12, Rs. 1,01,500 to Rs. 1,67,400 plus usual allowances and NPA where applicable.
• Assistant Professor Contractual: Consolidated monthly pay based on Basic Pay Rs. 1,01,500 plus NPA at 20% of basic pay and applicable DA.
• Accommodation: Contract faculty may get residential accommodation subject to availability and applicable deductions.

Application Fee

• SC / ST / PwBD: No fee.
• Other categories: Rs. 2,000 plus 18% GST, total Rs. 2,360.
• Payment mode: NEFT only in favour of Executive Director, AIIMS Bilaspur.
• Important note: UPI and other payment modes are not accepted, and the fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

AIIMS Bilaspur will first scrutinise applications received within the deadline and check fee submission, eligibility and documents. People found suitable after scrutiny will be called for a personal interview by the Standing Selection Committee. If applications are very high, the institute may use additional shortlisting criteria and may hold a written exam if needed.

1. Application scrutiny: The committee checks eligibility, experience, fee proof and documents.
2. Shortlisting: Shortlisting may consider patient care, teaching, training, research, publications and administrative experience.
3. Presentation: Interview-call candidates must make a PowerPoint presentation of up to 5 minutes on their work and achievements.
4. Personal interview: The interview is physical and in-person; online interview is not accepted.
5. Document verification and medical fitness: Final appointment depends on document verification, declarations, antecedents and medical fitness.
