AIIMS Bhopal Project Technical Support-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal has released Advertisement No. AIIMS/BPL/TEM/2026/458 for one contractual PTS-II post. The post is under the ICMR First in World Challenge project titled Design and Development of a Helmet-Shaped X-ray Device for 3D Radiographic Screening of Teeth and Jaw Using an Artificial Neural Network. The project is handled by Dr. Babu Lal, Associate Professor, Department of Trauma and Emergency Medicine, as Principal Investigator.

This is a project-based contract role for 1 year or until the project ends, whichever happens earlier. The work may involve AIIMS Bhopal, project sites, and field locations as required by the project. This opening is best for people with a science, laboratory, engineering, radiology device, or medical device background who can support technical work and project documentation.

Essential Qualification

• Option 1: You must have passed 12th in Science with a diploma in MLT, DMLT, Engineering, or equivalent, plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Option 2: You can also apply with a three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject or field plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Nationality: The notice is for Indian nationals.

Desirable Experience

• Preferred background: Prior industrial experience in development or manufacturing of radiology devices, X-ray machines, or other medical devices will be preferred.
• Project fit: Experience in laboratory support, equipment handling, field work, data recording, or healthcare technology projects will help you in this role.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: below 30 years as on the last date of application.
• Age reference date: 15 June 2026.
• Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, departmental/project candidates and other eligible categories get relaxation as per Central Government and ICMR guidelines, subject to valid documents.

Salary

• Monthly pay: Rs. 20,000 per month.
• HRA: 20% HRA is also payable as mentioned in the notice.
• Tenure: 1 year or till project completion, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process

The selection process depends on the number of people found suitable for the post. If more than 30 eligible people appear, AIIMS Bhopal will conduct a short written test before interview.

1. Document screening: AIIMS Bhopal will check the Google Form submission, qualification, experience proof, and other uploaded documents.
2. Written test, if required: If more than 30 eligible people appear, a test with 20 multiple-choice questions for 20 marks will be held on the interview day.
3. Interview: The top 10 candidates in the written test for the post will be called for interview. If the written test is not held, final merit will be based on interview marks.
4. Document verification: You must bring original certificates and self-attested photocopies for checking at the time of test/interview and joining.

Qualifying marks: For the written test, the qualifying mark is 35% for SC/ST and 40% for UR/OBC/EWS. The final merit will be prepared using written test and interview marks when the written test is conducted.
