AIIMS Bathinda Project Research Scientist-I Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bathinda (AIIMS Bathinda) has released notification for 2 Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) - Clinical Psychologist posts under an ICMR-funded research project. The project is titled "Development and Validation of an Artificial Intelligence Avatar (AI-Avatar) as co-therapist in managing patients with Depressive Disorder - A Multicentric Randomized Controlled Trial". The Principal Investigator is Dr. Jawahar Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry. This is a contractual position with an initial tenure of 6 months, extendable up to 4 years based on performance and ICMR approval.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Education: Postgraduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) with First Class - Post Graduate Degree in Psychology from a recognized university

Desirable Qualification

• MPhil in Clinical Psychology / PhD in a relevant field
• Prior experience in patient recruitment, clinical history taking, MSE, and delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Previous experience in handling clinical research projects, related accounts and administrative responsibilities in psychiatry
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi, and English with strong communication skills
• Experience with REDCap software

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years as on the last date of application (19 April 2026)

Salary

• Monthly salary: Rs. 56,000 + 10% HRA = Rs. 61,600 per month (Total) as per ICMR norms
• This is a fixed consolidated salary. No extra allowances or facilities will be provided.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through the following stages:

1. Interview: Candidates will be called for interview at AIIMS Bathinda. A written test may also be conducted if desired by the competent authority.
2. Document Verification: Your eligibility will be verified at the time of interview. Only eligible candidates (as determined after document verification) will be considered for the interview/exam.

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
