The Department of Food Science and Nutrition, College of Community Science, AAU Jorhat has invited candidates for a walk-in interview to fill 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post under a DBT-funded project titled “Bridging Tradition and Innovation: Nano-biotechnological Interventions for Preserving Apong Authenticity and Enhancing Shelf Life”. Apong is a traditional fermented rice beverage of Assam, and this project studies ways to preserve its authenticity and extend its shelf life using nano-biotechnology.
