THSTI Senior Project Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad, is filling Senior Project Associate positions through a walk-in selection under Rolling Recruitment Notice THS/RN/01/2026/08-II. THSTI works on turning lab research into health solutions, and both openings sit inside funded research projects at its NCR Biotech Science Cluster campus. These are short-term project positions, not regular government posts.

The same notice also listed a Principal Project Associate and a Project Associate-I, but their walk-in day has already passed. This listing covers the two posts that are still open. If you have hands-on experience in microbiome bioinformatics or LC-MS/MS bioanalysis, one of these could suit you.

Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Project Associate (Neo-sepsis programme): works under Dr. Bhabatosh Das on a project studying the gut microbiome of newborns with and without sepsis. The role is built around bioinformatics — 16S metagenomics, transcriptomics and whole-genome sequencing analysis.
• Senior Project Associate (Bioanalyst): works under Dr. Nitya Wadhwa on the Placenta Health Project – Adaptive Dose Finding Platform in India, inside a DMPK team. The role centres on LC-MS/MS and HPLC analysis of drugs in biological samples for pharmacokinetic studies.

Post-wise Duties

Senior Project Associate (Neo-sepsis programme)

You will run bioinformatics pipelines on sequence data from neonatal samples, working with 16S amplicon, transcriptome or whole-genome datasets. You should already be comfortable with these pipelines, because the project expects you to analyse data independently.

Senior Project Associate (Bioanalyst)

You will operate and look after the LC-MS/MS system, prepare and extract plasma, serum and tissue samples, and develop and validate methods to measure small-molecule drugs and metabolites. You will also write analytical protocols, keep reference standards and lab notebooks in order, and prepare bioanalytical study plans and summaries for clinical and preclinical PK studies.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: These are short-term positions. Extensions depend on your performance and on how long the project runs, and you will have no claim to regularisation.
• Crucial date: Your age, experience and qualification are judged as on the date of the walk-in interview.
• Experience counts after the degree: Only experience gained after the minimum qualification is counted.
• Screening: If a large number of candidates turn up, THSTI may shortlist on the spot based on higher or more relevant qualifications and experience.
• Vacancy may change: The number of posts can change depending on actual need on the selection day.
• Communication: Results are posted only on the THSTI website, and all other contact happens by email.
• Canvassing: Giving wrong information or canvassing in any form leads to disqualification.

There is no online form for these posts. Report in person at 9:00 AM at THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad 121001. Anyone arriving after the reporting time will not be allowed in.

Bring your latest CV, one set of photocopies of your qualification and experience documents with the originals, and a valid ID card. You must hand over your mobile phone with an ID proof at reception, and you get it back only after the whole selection process ends.
