Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence. The Koraput Division at Sunabeda, Odisha is known for aero engine manufacturing work linked to MiG and Sukhoi series aircraft. This notice is for apprenticeship training under NAPS, so it is a training opportunity and does not create a right to regular employment in HAL.

Who Can Apply?

• Education: You must have passed regular and full-time 10th/HSC/SSC.

• State condition: The ITI should be from a recognised institute from Odisha state only.
• NAPS restriction: If you have undergone, are undergoing, or already registered a NAPS contract elsewhere, you are not eligible.
• Experience restriction: Candidates with one year or more work experience are not eligible.

Important fit: This opening is for fresh or early-career ITI trade candidates from Odisha who want structured apprenticeship training at HAL Koraput. If you already hold a NAPS contract or have one year of work experience, this particular notice is not meant for you.

Age Limit

• General category: Upper age limit is 23 years as on 30 June 2026.
• OBC: Upper age relaxation of 3 years.
• SC/ST: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
• PwD: Upper age relaxation of 10 years.

Stipend

• Monthly stipend: Rs. 9,600 or Rs. 10,560 per month, depending on trade.
• Rule basis: Stipend will be paid as per the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
• Canteen: Apprentices may use subsidised lunch inside the factory premises on working days.
• Hostel: Hostel facility may be provided to selected candidates subject to availability.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

HAL Koraput will select NAPS Trade Apprentices using marks-based merit and document checking. The notification does not mention a written exam.

1. NAPS Registration: Register as a candidate on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and complete your profile to 100%.
2. Merit Calculation: Selection is based on qualifying exam marks with 70% weightage for 10th and 30% weightage for ITI.
3. Reservation: Reservation will be applied as per Apprenticeship Act and Government guidelines.
4. Shortlisting by Email: Shortlisted candidates will be called through the email ID given in the application.
5. Document Verification and Joining: Original documents will be checked before joining.

Selection warning: HAL says canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. Keep your NAPS profile, Aadhaar-linked details, and documents correct before applying.

How to Apply

1. Register as a Candidate on the NAPS apprenticeship portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and complete your profile to 100%.
2. Make sure your name, gender, and date of birth in the NAPS portal match your 10th/HSC/SSC certificate.
3. If there is any mismatch, correct Aadhaar first and update the NAPS details using the Re-KYC option.
4. Fill the application format attached with the HAL notification and clearly mention marks obtained in educational qualifications.
5. Attach copies of 10th/HSC/SSC marksheet, ITI NCVT certificate, consolidated marksheet, caste certificate if applicable, EWS certificate if applicable, and PwD certificate if applicable.
6. Submit the application physically or by ordinary, speed, or registered post to Chief Manager (Training), Training and Development Institute, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Koraput Division, PO: Sunabeda, Dist: Koraput, Odisha - 763003.
7. Write NAPS APPLICATION on top of the envelope.
