About This Job

VNMKV Agricultural Research Station, Badnapur has postponed the SRF and Skilled Helper interview for the Hybrid Project on Pigeonpea to 08 June 2026.

Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Agricultural Research Station, Badnapur issued an updated official notice for SRF and Skilled Helper posts under the CRP on Hybrid Technology pigeonpea project. The interview is now scheduled for 08 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, with document scrutiny and verification at 9:00 AM on the same day. The notice lists 2 Senior Research Fellow posts and 3 Skilled Helper posts. The SRF qualification is M.Sc. (Agril. Botany), with Ph.D. (Agril. Botany) preferable. Responsibilities

  • Conduct field and laboratory research on CGMS-based Pigeonpea hybrid development

  • Collect, record, and analyse experimental data from field trials
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and field equipment used in the project
  • Prepare technical reports, charts, and project documents
  • Help with sample collection, processing, and storage of plant material

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Diploma (for Skilled Helper) or M.Sc in Agricultural Botany (for SRF)

Preferred Qualification

Ph.D in Agricultural Botany for SRF; relevant experience for Helper

Required Skills

Field research, laboratory techniques, data recording, plant breeding knowledge

Age Limit

18 - 33 years
