National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced 2 JRF positions under the project AI-guided Smart Point-of-Care Device for Early Detection of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Rural and Urban Areas. The project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant program. Who Can Apply?

Marks Requirement

• UG and PG route: GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL applicants need at least 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG levels.
• Relaxed UG and PG marks: SC / ST / PwD applicants need at least 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA at both UG and PG levels.

Essential Qualification

• Option 1: B.Tech/BE or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, plus M.Tech/ME in ECE or equivalent with research areas such as Embedded and Machine Learning Systems, Signal and Image Processing, VLSI-System Design, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Vision.
• Option 2: B.Tech/BE or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Desired Skills

• Research areas: Knowledge of image processing, computer vision, medical image processing, and edge-AI is desirable.
• Programming: Experience with Python or MATLAB is highly desirable.
• Research output: Publications or patents in medical image processing, computer vision, machine learning, or deep learning will be preferred.
