National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) CIET Consultant Recruitment 2026 - 44 Posts

The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent unit of NCERT, has released Advertisement No. 02/CIET/2026-27 to fill 44 posts under various PAB-approved projects for the year 2026-27, including NISHTHA teacher training, PM eVidya, and NCERT content translation initiatives. Selected candidates will work at CIET-NCERT, New Delhi on a contract basis, initially up to 31 March 2027. Who Can Apply?

Senior Consultant (Technical) - Rs. 1,00,000/month:

• You need a four-year graduate degree or Master's degree in any Engineering branch with 55% marks, plus 5 years of post-qualification experience.

Consultant (Technical) - Rs. 80,000/month:

• You need a four-year graduate degree in Engineering, MCA, M.Tech/M.Sc (Computer Science), M.Sc (IT), or MS in Software Systems with 55% marks, plus 3 years of relevant experience.

Senior Consultant (Academic) - Rs. 1,00,000/month:

• You need a Post-Graduation degree as per UGC guidelines for Assistant Professor, with NET/SET/SLET qualification and 5 years of relevant experience.

Consultant (Academic) - Rs. 80,000/month:

• You need a Post-Graduation degree as per UGC guidelines for Assistant Professor, with NET/SET/SLET qualification and 3 years of relevant experience.

Data Analyst/Mobile App Developer - Rs. 68,000/month:

• You need a Post-Graduation in Science, Computer Science, or Computer Application (55% marks), or a graduate degree with a two-year PG Diploma in Computer Application, plus 5 years of relevant experience.

3D Graphic Developer/Animator/Graphic Designer - Rs. 50,000/month:

• You need graduation in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, or Applied Arts (or a graduate degree with a one-year diploma in Graphics/Animation), plus 3 years of relevant experience.

Programmer (VAPT Analyst) - Rs. 50,000/month:

• You need a PG in Computer Application, Computer Science, or M.Tech (55% marks) with 2 years of experience, or a B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science with 3 years of experience.

Content Developer (Technical) - Rs. 42,000/month:

• You need a four-year graduate degree or Master's degree in Engineering (55% marks) with 2 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 45 years old for most posts.
• Age Relaxation: Retired faculty members can apply up to 70 years for Consultant/Senior Consultant posts, or up to 65 years for Data Analyst, Graphic Designer, and Programmer posts. Relaxation is as per Government of India norms.

Salary

• Pay ranges from Rs. 42,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated) depending on the post.
• Senior Consultant (Technical/Academic): Rs. 1,00,000 per month
• Consultant (Technical/Academic): Rs. 80,000 per month
• Data Analyst/Mobile App Developer: Rs. 68,000 per month
• 3D Graphic Developer / Programmer (VAPT Analyst): Rs. 50,000 per month
• Content Developer (Technical): Rs. 42,000 per month
• These are consolidated monthly payments — no separate DA/HRA is mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based entirely on an interview — there is no written test:

1. Document Verification: Bring your original certificates, testimonials, and a filled bio-data form (Annexure-1) to the interview venue.
2. Interview: Held project-wise between 3 August 2026 and 7 August 2026 at CIET, NCERT, New Delhi. You must report by 9:00 AM — no candidate is allowed in after 9:30 AM.

If you are currently employed, you must bring a No Objection Certificate from your employer, or you will not be allowed to appear for the interview. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
