The position is based inside IARI's New Delhi campus and supports the Seed Production Unit rather than a permanent cadre. It offers direct exposure to institutional seed work, but the notice is clear that the engagement remains contractual. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The contract begins with a six-month term and may be extended under the institute's decision and continuing need.
• Temporary status: The engagement does not give you a claim to a regular appointment at ICAR-IARI.
• Essential screening: Only people who meet the essential qualification will be considered for the interview.
• Travel costs: No TA or DA is payable for attending the walk-in.
• Original verification: You must carry original certificates; without them, you will not be allowed to attend the interview.
• Family declaration: Every applicant must submit the signed prescribed declaration about near or distant relatives working in ICAR or IARI. Where a relative is employed there, give the person's name, designation, duties and relationship.
• Current employment: Bring a No Objection Certificate from your present employer when it applies to you.
• Candidate conduct: Concealed facts, false records or canvassing can lead to disqualification or termination of the engagement.
