Post-wise Duties

Anganwadi Worker

You will assist the Worker with daily centre routines, help prepare the space and materials, support nutrition-related work and look after children during centre activities. Your familiarity with local families and the neighbourhood will help the centre respond to practical needs.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local status: You must be a married woman and a local resident of the area relevant to the Anganwadi Centre.
• Centre allocation: Posts are tied to specific centres listed under the ICDS projects, divisions and mandals in the official annexure.
• Helper qualification fallback: If no Class 10 pass applicant is available for a Helper centre, the office may consider the woman with the highest lower-class qualification.
