NaBFID CISO Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) is hiring a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Vice President grade on a fixed-term contract. Set up under the NaBFID Act, the institution supports infrastructure financing and is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India as an All-India Financial Institution. This appointment is part of its effort to build a senior leadership team for that mandate.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract term: The engagement runs for five years. NaBFID may renew it for an additional term at its discretion, so an extension is not automatic.
- Posting: The position is based in Mumbai. However, the bank may place you at its establishments in Mumbai, New Delhi or elsewhere in India according to its needs.
- Travel reimbursement: The notice provides reimbursement of economy airfare for attending the interview process. The conditions in the notice apply, including the employer-clearance requirement for serving staff.
- Accuracy of your application: Incorrect information, hidden material facts or failure to meet the stated conditions can lead to cancellation. If the bank finds these issues after you join, it may end your engagement without notice.
- Background checks: You must disclose pending criminal cases at the interview. NaBFID may also check police records independently and decide whether to proceed with the engagement based on those findings.
- Bank decisions: NaBFID can amend, withdraw or advertise the position again. Its decisions on the recruitment are final, and it will not accept correspondence challenging those decisions.
