Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), a Navratna enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has re-notified its Consultant Engineering engagement in Chennai under the South Zone. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial term: The engagement starts with a one-year term. IRCTC may extend it according to its needs and your performance, but any extension remains the company's decision.
• Ending the engagement: Either you or IRCTC may end the arrangement early by giving one month's notice. This condition applies during the period of re-engagement.

• Leave: You earn 1.5 days of leave for each completed month of service. This leave has no separate casual-leave or earned-leave classification, and unused leave cannot carry forward into the next calendar year.
• Interview travel: IRCTC will not reimburse your travel, stay or journey expenses for attending the interview. Make your own arrangements when the company communicates the venue.
• Vigilance clearance: The attached declaration makes payment conditional on receipt of vigilance clearance. An adverse clearance report can lead to immediate termination without notice.
• Truthful declarations: Hiding relevant facts or giving false information can lead to rejection. If discovered after engagement, it can also lead to termination without notice, recovery of pay already received and further action.
• Dispute jurisdiction: Disputes connected with re-engagement under this advertisement fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi. This condition applies even though the advertised assignment is in Chennai.
• Advertisement changes: IRCTC may change the number of engagements or withdraw the advertisement at any point. Keep the re-notification and its conditions together when considering the offer.
