Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) Project Officer and Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), an autonomous institute under GNCT of Delhi and a Deemed-to-be-University, has invited applications for 3 project posts under its outreach project "Find Time for Your Liver – Screen and Secure Your Health." This project focuses on early screening for liver disease and building public awareness around liver health, working closely with national and state health authorities. ILBS itself is a super-specialty institute working across Liver, Pancreatobiliary, Renal, Oncology and Organ Transplantation care, teaching and research, and this project extends that mission down to community-level screening. These are purely temporary positions that will run till the project completes in January 2027, based on performance and fund availability, with a first three months' probation for both posts. No advance online registration is needed — eligible candidates can walk directly into the interview venue with their documents. Project Officers will liaise with State NHM Directorates, NCD Cells and MoHFW officials across multiple states, develop outreach material and handle the project's social media and reporting work, while Project Assistants will support travel coordination for national training workshops, documentation and data entry.

Who Can Apply?

For Project Officer (Rs. 55,000/month):

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Analytics, Computer Applications or a related field.
• Preferred: 1 year of post-PG experience in health-related work, plus experience in community-based research, data analysis and report writing.

For Project Assistant (Rs. 32,000/month):

• Qualification: You need a graduate degree in any discipline with at least 1 year of experience in project support roles.
• Preferred: Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong written/verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India by birth or domicile, or a Person of Indian Origin as recognized by the application form.
• Reservation: SC/ST/OBC and Persons with Disabilities/Ex-Servicemen get reservation as per Government guidelines for both posts.

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 40 years as on the date of the walk-in interview, for both Project Officer and Project Assistant.

Salary

• Project Officer: Rs. 55,000 per month (pre-revised, 7th CPC pay level applicable at the Institute).
• Project Assistant: Rs. 32,000 per month.
• Both posts carry a first three months' probation period, and your appointment may be extended till project completion (January 2027) based on performance and fund availability.

Selection Process (Walk-In Interview Only)

There is no written exam for these posts — selection happens through a walk-in interview on the same day:

1. Document Screening: Bring your completed application form and original certificates for verification at the venue between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
2. Walk-In Interview: Conducted the same day, starting at 11:00 AM, right after form submission and screening.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, and the institute reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning reasons.

2. Reach MPH Phase-1, Upper Basement, ILBS, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi on 18 July 2026 (Saturday) between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM for form submission.
3. Carry original documents plus one full set of self-attested photocopies of your Class 10th and 12th certificates, degree certificates/marksheets, experience certificates, and PAN and Aadhaar cards.
4. Sign the declaration on the form confirming that all details given are true — any false information can lead to your candidature being cancelled, even after joining.
5. Attend the interview, which starts at 11:00 AM.
