BECIL Principal Chief Projects Recruitment 2026: Overview
Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is hiring a Principal Chief Projects on a full-time contract. The assignment is based at its Corporate Office in Noida or Head Office in Delhi and brings several programmes and projects under senior leadership. This is a project-management leadership role within the company, with work spanning project teams, sponsors and external vendors.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract term: The initial engagement lasts one year. An extension depends on BECIL needing the role and finding your performance satisfactory, so you should not treat renewal as automatic.
- Employment status: This appointment gives you no right to claim a regular position in BECIL. The company can also end the engagement without advance notice if your performance is unsatisfactory.
- Office attendance: You are expected to work during normal office hours. Be prepared to attend on weekends or holidays when project work demands it.
- Project travel: You may need to travel outside your base office for project assignments. Domestic travel on official work follows the company rules in force.
- Leave: Full-time contract staff receive 30 days of leave per year, earned at 2.5 days for each completed month. This is the leave arrangement stated for the engagement.
- Confidentiality: The Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 applies while you hold the assignment and after it ends. Leaving the role does not remove this obligation.
- Fair conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment or using unfair means can lead to rejection or a bar from selection. BECIL also warns against relying on unauthorised people who offer to arrange employment.

Full-time BE/BTech/MTech/MCA in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or allied disciplines from a recognised institution.

MBA in Finance, Operations or Projects; PG Diploma in Contract Management or Project Management; PMP certification. Additional qualifications receive preference according to role suitability.
आवश्यक कौशल
Project documentation including RFPs, EOIs, agreements, MoUs, letters of intent and work orders; government contracting and project regulations; CVC guidelines and labour laws.
