The Office of Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (IC&SR), IIT Madras has released Advertisement No. ICSR/PR/Advt.135/2026 for 1 Full Stack Developer post at its Career Pathway Centre in Chennai. The position is initially for one year, extendable based on performance, and is coordinated by Prof. Richa Agarwal, Chairperson, Career Pathway Centre. As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and RESTful APIs, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. No age limit is prescribed for this role — what matters is your technical skill and hands-on project experience.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science or Information Technology) along with an MBA.
• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.
• Required Skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js/Angular/Vue.js, PHP (Laravel) and/or Flutter, MySQL or PostgreSQL, REST API development, Git, Linux environments, and Apache/Nginx web servers.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month.
• This is a contractual position, initially for one year and extendable based on your performance. Completion of the contract does not give you any right to permanency at the Institute.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on your qualifications, skills, and relevant experience mentioned in your online application.
2. Written/Skill Test: The Institute may restrict and test shortlisted candidates on relevant technical skills.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
4. Document Verification: Your certificates and testimonials will be verified before final selection.
