IIT Indore Research Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) is recruiting a Research Associate for a Ministry of Textiles project on advanced nanofibrous fabrics. The project explores a textile-based approach to reducing viral and bacterial infections, bringing the work into the context of combating pandemics. This is a project contract, with work connected to both IIT Indore and IIT Jammu.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project context: The advertised project is supported through NTTM under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Its focus is on advanced fabrics and their potential use against infections, rather than a general departmental appointment.
- Tenure: Your initial appointment runs for one year or until the project finishes, whichever comes first. Project closure can therefore bring the engagement to an end before the full year is complete.

पात्रता मानदंड
न्यूनतम योग्यता
PhD in Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Bioengineering or Material Science. Applicants who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting the degree may also apply.
वांछित योग्यता
Experience in nanomaterial synthesis, heterostructure fabrication and characterisation, and mammalian and bacterial cell culture is preferred. A strong research record and excellent publications receive preference.
