The role involves large-scale, multilingual, school-based data collection across Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Vision Science, Developmental Science, Developmental Brain Sciences, Neuroscience or a closely related field
• Also Eligible: Candidates who have submitted their thesis in the above fields before the last date of application can also apply
• Academic Record: Minimum 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward, and 55% or equivalent in 10th and 12th standard
• Skills Needed: Experience designing and running psychophysics experiments; coding in MATLAB, Python and JavaScript; strong statistics/data science skills (R/Python); knowledge of Item Response Theory, confirmatory factor analysis and multilevel modelling
• Desirable: Experience with gamified/browser-based experimental tasks (jsPsych, PsychoPy, Gorilla, Unity), eye-tracking data analysis, and school-based research with children

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 72,000 to Rs. 84,000 per month.
• The position is for 1 year, and is renewable based on performance.
