Service Conditions and Caveats

• Faculty collaboration: The fellowship uses a mentor-based model. You will work with the named resident faculty mentor but are also expected to develop as an independent researcher.
• Contract period: The first term lasts one year and can be renewed once. The maximum engagement is two years, with continuation based on the annual review of your performance.
• Teaching load: Each year, you must teach at least one four-credit course. One credit equals 6.25 teaching hours, and the assignment may be an undergraduate course, a postgraduate elective or a doctoral-level course.
• Publication goal: The institute expects the fellowship collaboration to produce at least one paper per year in an A-category or higher journal under the ABDC list or an equivalent accepted list.
• Academic support: A one-time research start-up fund can support conference participation or computing equipment. High-quality journal publication can also attract an incentive.
• Institute facilities: Campus accommodation at a discounted rate and a place to work may be provided when available. Fellows can use the library and internet, while bus access is chargeable.
• Performance condition: IIM Indore can terminate the fellowship if it finds inadequate progress or improper use of the grant. Satisfying the minimum qualification does not create an automatic right to an interview.
• Travel costs: You must meet your own travel and daily expenses for any test, interview or related assessment because the institute will not provide TA or DA.
• Dispute venue: Courts with territorial jurisdiction in Indore will handle disputes concerning this recruitment.
