Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is hiring 1 Academic Associate (AA) for its Executive Education Office (CMDP) at the Joka campus in Kolkata. IIM Calcutta Academic Associate Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

IIM Calcutta, established in 1961, is India's first Indian Institute of Management and holds triple accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) -- the first business school in India to achieve this. The Executive Education Office (also known as CMDP -- Consultancy and Management Development Programmes) runs short and long duration executive programmes. As an Academic Associate here, you will support faculty members with academic and executive education activities while gaining valuable exposure to India's premier management institution.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Post Graduation or equivalent in Management/MBA
• Candidates pursuing Doctoral Programs/Ph.D. in Management can also apply
• Minimum 60% marks throughout in Graduation and Post Graduation

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS-Office Tools and AI -- this is a must
• Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and preferably Bengali (both verbal and written)
• Multi-tasking abilities and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work in teams and handle diverse responsibilities

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years as on the date of application

Salary

• Stipend: Rs. 34,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Stipend is revised annually based on your performance as per Institute rules

Tenure

• Initial appointment is for 1 year
• Can be extended annually for up to 2 more years (total 3 years maximum) based on performance and institute requirements

• Assist IIM Calcutta faculty members in their academic activities related to Executive Education programmes
• Coordinate and support the planning, scheduling, and execution of Management Development Programmes (MDPs)
• Manage course materials, participant communications, and programme logistics for executive education sessions
• Handle Learning Management System (LMS) operations and maintain digital course content
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for the CMDP office
• Work with multiple stakeholders including faculty, participants, and external partners to ensure smooth programme delivery
• Assist in research and content development tasks as directed by the respective faculty
