Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida is engaging a Scientist B (Medical) for its Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory research projects. The role brings medical training into a laboratory and research setting, with work directed by the VRDL Nodal Officer or Principal Investigator. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Preferred background: Candidates with an MD, MDS or M.V.Sc. are preferred. The notice treats an MD or relevant M.V.Sc. as equivalent to three years of experience for assessment purposes.
• Project ownership: Because the post is outside the regular GIMS establishment, continuation depends on the research engagement rather than the institute's permanent staffing structure.
• Travel support: GIMS will not pay travel or daily expenses for attending the interaction or joining the project.
