GBPUAT Faculty Advt A32 Recruitment 2026: Overview
Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar, is recruiting Associate Professors and Assistant Professors through a direct recruitment drive for reserved-category backlog posts. Service Conditions and Caveats
- Reservation: State reservation benefits, including the listed horizontal categories, apply only to permanent residents of Uttarakhand. The notice treats applicants from other states as unreserved; consider this carefully because this drive covers reserved backlog posts.

Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10, entry pay Rs. 57,700 per month. Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A, entry pay Rs. 1,31,400 per month. Numeric range represents entry pay across the two ranks.

परीक्षा पैटर्न
The university may use a presentation or written/qualifying test for shortlisting; no question count, test duration, subject distribution or negative-marking scheme is stated. For Assistant Professor, the academic/research score is used for shortlisting and final selection is based on the interview.
The Assistant Professor annexure gives a 100-mark shortlisting score and a 20-mark interview. You may be shortlisted at 10 candidates for the first post and 5 for each additional post.

Your qualifications depend on the discipline and rank. Most Assistant Professor posts need a relevant master's and NET or a notified exemption; Associate Professor posts need a relevant Ph.D., 8 years of experience and the stated publication record. Engineering and veterinary posts have separate conditions; check your exact row and Annexure V.

Monthly entry pay is Rs. 57,700 at Academic Level 10 for Assistant Professor and Rs. 1,31,400 at Academic Level 13A for Associate Professor.
You pay Rs. 1,500 for OBC or Rs. 750 for SC/ST by demand draft, following the bank and payee details in the notice.
