Salary
Selected candidates will get a salary under Pay Level 14 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
- Basic Pay: Rs. 1,44,200 per month
- Pay Scale: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,18,200
- Other benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Medical Allowance as per Bihar Government rules
Who Can Apply — Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. degree in Physics (for Advt. 10/2026) or Chemistry (for Advt. 11/2026)
- First Class (55% or above) at Bachelor's level or Master's level in the relevant subject
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in Teaching, Research, or Industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience at the level of Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A1)
Research Publications (one of the two conditions must be met)
- Option 1: At least 6 research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals, plus 2 Ph.D. scholars guided
- Option 2: At least 10 research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2026)
- Minimum Age: 32 years
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit
