Ananthapuramu District Court Computer Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Principal District Court, Ananthapuramu has notified a Computer Assistant post in the unit of the Principal District Judge, to be filled on contract basis against a consolidated monthly payment. The appointment is made under Rule 9 of the A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, following the instructions the High Court of Andhra Pradesh issues from time to time. The court has kept this opening for natives of Ananthapuramu district only, and it is aimed at graduates who can look after the court's computers, printers and network rather than at software developers.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nativity: Only natives of Ananthapuramu are eligible, and you have to back this up with a nativity certificate.
• Nature of the job: The appointment is purely temporary and on contract basis. On joining you sign an agreement with the Principal District Judge covering the terms of the contract engagement.
• Pay revision: What you are paid is fixed by government order and can change later as the Government or the High Court of Andhra Pradesh decides.
• Shortlisting: If more than 20 candidates apply, the court may shortlist on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination together with other relevant considerations.
• No travel allowance: No T.A. or D.A. is paid for any journey made in connection with this recruitment.
• Character and antecedents: You should not be involved in any criminal case, and employees who were dismissed, removed, compulsorily retired or made to seek retirement cannot be re-employed here.
• Fitness: You need to be physically and mentally fit for the post, and the selected candidate has to produce a physical fitness certificate at the time of joining.
• Posting and transfer: Postings and transfers are decided by the Principal District Judge as administrative needs require, under the overall supervision of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
• Right to cancel: The appointing authority can cancel the notification without giving any reason.

Application Submission Notes

This is an offline recruitment. You have to use the prescribed proforma appended to the notification — the court says applications received in any other format will be summarily rejected, so a plain typed letter or a resume will not do.

Send the filled application to The Prl. District Judge, Ananthapuramu, and write the name of the post you are applying for on the envelope cover. It must physically reach that address by 5.00 p.m. on the last date; anything that lands later is not entertained, and applications sent in before the notification came out are not considered either.

Post it early. The court has said plainly that it is not responsible for postal delay, courier delay or any delay in delivery, so a late postal run is your risk, not theirs.
