Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise and Mini Ratna Category-I PSU, has released Advertisement No. 08/2026/CHQ/CN for consultant engagement in the CSR Directorate. EdCIL (India) Limited is handling the online recruitment process on behalf of AAI. The engagement is on a contract basis for one year, with possible extension as per requirement and rules.

Role focus: These posts are for experienced CSR professionals who can handle policy, proposal review, monitoring and reporting work for AAI's CSR activities. The Senior Consultant role is heavier on CSR manual preparation, thrust area identification, project execution planning and compliance under Section 135 of the Companies Act. The Consultant role supports proposal scrutiny, follow-up, project monitoring, data collection and preparation of reports or documentary material.

Who Can Apply?

Senior Consultant (CSR)

• Qualification: You need a Post-Graduation degree from an approved recognised institution.
• Experience: You need minimum 8 years of CSR experience.
• Government/PSU exposure: At least 5 years should be in a PSU, Central Government or State Government setup.

Consultant (CSR)

• Qualification: You need a Post-Graduation degree from an approved recognised institution.
• Experience: You need minimum 5 years of CSR experience.
• Government/PSU exposure: At least 3 years should be in a PSU, Central Government or State Government setup.

Nationality condition: Only Indian nationals can apply for these AAI CSR posts. Your qualification, experience and age will be counted as on 28 June 2026, so your documents should clearly support your claim by that date.

Experience fit: This is not an entry-level CSR opening. Before applying, make sure your experience certificates clearly show CSR work and also show the required PSU, Central Government or State Government exposure. AAI can reject an application at any stage if the proof is missing or not enough to support the eligibility claim.

Age Limit

• Senior Consultant (CSR): Maximum age is 45 years.
• Consultant (CSR): Maximum age is 40 years.
• Cut-off date: Age will be counted as on 28 June 2026.

Posting place: The engagement is for AAI Corporate Headquarters in Delhi. The selected consultants should be ready to work with the CSR Directorate on pan-India project records, monitoring follow-up and compliance material.

Salary

• Senior Consultant (CSR): Rs. 1,50,000 per month, all inclusive.
• Consultant (CSR): Rs. 1,20,000 per month, all inclusive.
• Leave: Consultants get leave at the rate of 1.5 days for each completed month of service. Unused leave cannot be carried forward or encashed.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

AAI will shortlist candidates using academic qualification, experience, document verification and interview. The notification does not mention any written exam.

1. Application Screening: Your postgraduate qualification, CSR experience, PSU/government exposure and age will be checked from the online application.
2. Document Verification: You must produce original documents for qualification, experience, age and other claims when called.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email and will attend the interview or selection process as decided by AAI.
