RITES Chief Rolling Stock Engineer Recruitment 2026: Overview
RITES Limited is engaging a retired professional for the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase 2 in Gujarat, where it provides general consultancy services to Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited. The position combines Chief Rolling Stock Design and Specification Engineer and Project Manager (Rolling Stock) under the assignment identifier K-23. You would join through a project contract, with deployment dependent on the client accepting your profile.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract duration: The initial appointment lasts one year or until the project finishes, whichever comes first. The project’s completion can therefore end the assignment before a full year has passed.
- Client approval: Actual deployment depends on approval by the client. Applying for the position does not, by itself, establish a deployment date.
- Conduct record: You cannot apply if a major or minor penalty was imposed during your last five years of service. This condition applies to your service record before retirement.
