THSTI Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is recruiting for data management, research scientist and laboratory project roles in Faridabad. The projects cover a rheumatic heart disease trial, tuberculosis research, maternal and neonatal imaging, and a coronavirus vaccine candidate. These are short-term project appointments under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology.

Posts and Disciplines

• Assistant Data Manager: Join Dr. Nitya Wadhwa's trial examining losartan for preventing disease progression in patients with rheumatic heart disease.
• Project Research Scientist-II: Work with Dr. Nisheeth Agarwal on BRAIN-TB, which studies bacterial regulators involved in tuberculosis infection of the central nervous system.
• Project Research Scientist-I: Join Dr. Nitya Wadhwa's imaging data science project, focused on improving maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Project Assistant and Project Technician: Support Dr. Sweety Samal's project on a multi-epitope, nanoparticle-based vaccine candidate intended to provide broad protection against beta coronaviruses.

Post-wise Duties

Assistant Data Manager

You will help keep study databases and electronic case report forms accurate and usable. The work includes reviewing data, resolving queries with the study team, keeping database records and supporting testing, data exports and database closure.

Project Research Scientist-II

You will support the BRAIN-TB research programme through molecular biology, protein studies and work with mycobacteria. The role also involves biochemical and immunological analysis within the project's laboratory facilities.

Project Research Scientist-I

You will develop artificial intelligence models using medical images and videos. Your work includes preparing datasets, writing analysis programs and testing modelling approaches against the study's analysis plan.

Project Assistant

You will handle virus-related laboratory work in the vaccine project, including assays and molecular biology activities. The notice places this work in Biosafety Level 2 and Biosafety Level 3 facilities.

Project Technician

You will support in vitro virus work and pseudovirus generation within the vaccine project. The role also covers molecular biology and related laboratory activities in the Biosafety Level 2 setting.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Extensions depend on satisfactory performance and the duration of the relevant project. The appointments do not carry a right to regularisation.
• Recruitment updates: THSTI will publish results and notices on its website, while individual communication will be by email. Check both during the recruitment process.
• Changing requirements: The institute may adjust the advertised openings according to its requirements at the recruitment stage.
• Conduct: Incorrect information or attempts to influence the process can lead to disqualification. THSTI and Government of India rules govern matters not covered in the notice.

• Venue and reporting: Attend at 9:00 am on your post's assigned walk-in day at THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad 121001.
• Late arrivals: You will not be admitted after the stated reporting slot. Each post has its own walk-in day, so check the role-specific schedule before travelling.
• Reception rule: Leave your mobile phone and a valid identity document at reception. These will be returned after the full selection process is over.

• Review clinical trial data and resolve database queries as Assistant Data Manager
• Keep study data-management records and support database testing and closure
