Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - 734 Posts
Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, under the Ministry of Railways, has released Notice No. A-1/2026 for engaging 734 Act Apprentices for training at its Technical Training Centre under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The vacancies are spread across 9 trades - Fitter, Welder (G&E), Machinist, Painter (G), Carpenter, Electrician, AC & Refrigeration Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) and Electronic Mechanic. Selection is purely merit-based on your Matriculation and ITI marks - there is no written exam or interview. This is a good opportunity for ITI-trained candidates to gain hands-on training with Indian Railways. Keep in mind that completing this training does not guarantee a job offer or absorption into Railways afterwards - it is a skill-building apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Vacancy Breakdown by Trade
- Welder (G&E): 220 posts
- Fitter: 180 posts
- Electrician: 110 posts
