Who Can Apply?

For Graduate Teacher (Fine Arts):

• You need a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from a Government recognized University or Institute.
• Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in both English and Assamese medium.

For Graduate Teacher (Physical Education):

• You need a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with at least 50% marks from a Government recognized University or Institute.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed emolument of Rs. 21,450 per month, based on attendance including paid leave and holidays.
• You'll also get a variable emolument of Rs. 825 per day for each working day.
• If you're selected and take maternity leave during your contract, only the fixed component of your pay continues — the variable component is not paid during that leave.
• Statutory benefits of Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Gratuity apply, and you'll need to submit your Universal Account Number (UAN) at the time of engagement.
• No Travelling Allowance or Daily Allowance is paid for appearing in the Walk-in Personal Assessment — you'll need to arrange your own travel and stay.

Selection Process

OIL will select candidates in the following stages:

1. Registration: Complete registration at the venue between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on 7 September 2026. No registration is allowed outside this window, under any circumstances.
2. Document Verification: Your original documents will be checked against the details you submit at the time of registration.
3. Walk-in Personal Assessment: You'll be assessed for 100 marks on professional knowledge (in your subject and allied subjects), and your personal attributes and soft skills. The qualifying mark is 50 for all categories.
4. Merit List: Final selection is based purely on the marks you score in the personal assessment — there is no separate written test.

If more candidates register on 7 September 2026 than OIL can assess that day, the remaining candidates will be assessed on the following day(s). If you're provisionally selected, you'll normally need to join by a date set by management; if you can't join on time, you get a maximum extension of 15 additional days, after which your selection will be cancelled.
