Service Conditions and Caveats

• Special drive: These backlog openings are reserved for SC and ST candidates. You must apply against the category and role that match your circumstances.
• Posting and transfers: You may be posted at any NTPC office, station, project, joint venture or subsidiary. All posts carry transfer liability at management's discretion.
• Category choice: The category entered in your online form cannot be changed later. Benefits under another category will not be accepted after that choice.
• Disability reservation: Government reservation rules apply to the engineering posts identified in the notice. The Safety post is not identified for persons with benchmark disabilities.
• Recruitment changes: NTPC may increase, reduce, restrict or cancel the recruitment according to its needs. The advertised openings are projected requirements.
• No automatic entitlement: Meeting the stated conditions does not guarantee a call for further assessment. NTPC may apply higher minimum standards to limit the number considered.
• Accuracy of information: False details or withheld facts can lead to cancellation of candidature, or termination if discovered after appointment. Canvassing also leads to disqualification.
