Post-wise Duties

Director (Finance and Administration)

Assistant Director (Finance and Administration)

You will support day-to-day financial management, check accounting and audit work, and help manage budget, expenditure, procurement and contract records. The role also calls for familiarity with finance systems used for public works and externally aided projects.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Appointment route: the Director post can be filled on deputation or contract, while the Assistant Director post is on deputation only.
• Contract tenure: a consultant is engaged full-time for one year and the competent authority may extend or shorten the term; the engagement does not create a right to regular appointment or absorption.
• Outside work: consultants cannot take another assignment during their NRIDA engagement and must follow normal office timing and discipline.
• Notice period: NRIDA or the consultant may end the contract with one month's notice under the stated terms.
• Leave: consultant leave follows NRIDA policy, and unused leave is not normally carried into an extended term.
• Posting: the consultant's headquarters is New Delhi; official tours may be required for agency work.
• Confidentiality: staff must protect sensitive information learned during the assignment and need prior approval for related publications or broadcasts.
